In November, South Burnett primary producers had the opportunity to discuss Reef Regulations with representatives from the Office of the Great Barrier Reef at the South Burnett Ag Network Meeting which was held at Kumbia on 21 November (pictured).

November, are we here already?! What a busy few weeks at BIEDO HQ! In October we put the spotlight on stock route management and drought feeding at the South and North Burnett Ag Network meetings, celebrated the International Day of Rural Women at the Women in Workshirts Walk and Mundubbera Women in Ag Day (pictured), and rolled out the first Taking Care of #BurnettInland Business workshop. Phew!

Welcome to Spring! August kept us busy at BIEDO HQ and we were thrilled to launch the North Burnett Leadership Series in Gayndah with so many proactive people in the room! We can't wait to see the rest of the series unfold and if you missed last month's welcome dinner, don't worry - in the coming months we have 3 workshops and an overnight study tour planned and you can join in for one (or all!) of these events.

We had a fantastic month of education, events and energy! Team BIEDO are always eager to learn from you and with you, and we certainly had some great opportunities to do that in July. From Energy Pop-Up Offices (Mundubbera and Murgon) to social media (Wondai) and GrantED (Biggenden) sessions, meeting with community, touring industry sites and a couple of grant applications thrown in for good measure...
