Our Projects
The Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO) has been instrumental in fostering economic resilience and capacity within the North and South Burnett regions since its establishment in 1996. Collaborating with local governments, communities, and industries, BIEDO addresses challenges such as drought and service gaps by connecting individuals, businesses, and government entities.
01
Flavours of Our Land
Developed with the Burnett Inland region at its heart, this initiative showcases the incredible diversity of our locally produced goods. From the fertile soils of the North and South Burnett regions, our farmers cultivate a rich variety of crops, including peanuts, citrus fruits, and grapes, which are transformed into premium wines. Our offerings reach both national and international markets, shining a spotlight on what makes our region truly exceptional. By celebrating these unique flavours, we aim to connect consumers with the authentic tastes of Burnett Inland, fostering a deeper appreciation for our agricultural heritage and the dedicated individuals who bring these products to life.

North Burnett Events
North Burnett Events was born from a passion for fostering local connection and economic growth. This platform allows community members to upload and promote local events, sell tickets, and ensure that funds stay within the region—directly benefiting local businesses, organisations, and residents. Designed to be a central hub for everything happening in the North Burnett, it supports event organisers by providing an easy-to-use, accessible tool to engage the community, boost attendance, and celebrate the vibrant culture of our region.
