Join us as we continue to explore the change ahead for our region and how we can utilise the COVID-19 experience to redefine our businesses, our work and our communities.

Session 4 

How do you show leadership in community in our new way of living and working? How and where can you have influence or impact through the giving of time, treasure and/or talent in community?  What do you need personally to 'step forward' and create change. What motivates an individual to play a proactive role, whether that be tapping a community member on the shoulder to include them, deciding where to invest your time which aligns with your values, or seeing a need and working to address it.  If you have stepped forward, what skills did you draw on?  Was there something that contributed to your confidence to do so? Why were you motivated/compelled to step forward?

Leading this conversation will be Motivational & Inspirational Speaker Simone de Haas and Burnett Inland Community Leaders Councillor Melinda Jones and Damien Martoo.
