'FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FUN'
We are excited to announce the Belong Table Lunch 'Family, Friends and Fun', which will be held on 27th May 2023 at the Mt Perry Racecourse. This event promises to be a day filled with community, laughter, great food, and activities for everyone, including a special MC.
This event was co-designed with North Burnett Community Services and Monto LiveBetter and is being led by BIEDO. The BeLong Table Lunch ‘Friends, Family and Fun’ is an initiative funded by the Queensland Government, Tackling Regional Adversity through Connected Communities grant program.

STORIES FROM GOLDEN HEARTS PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
CELEBRATING WELL-BEING THROUGH ART
BIEDO is thrilled to announce the launch of the ‘Stories from Golden Hearts’ Competition, a photography competition celebrating the six universal aspects of well-being as defined by the Wheel of Wellbeing. With a prize pool of $2000, this competition aims to nurture and uplift the spirit through the power of photography.
General Manager Kristy Board said, “The shortlisted photos from this competition will be proudly shown at the BeLong Table Lunch in May. The judges will be looking for Wellbeing thoughtfully and artistically presented in photographs, with the hope of sharing a range of ideas and points of view about wellbeing to the community.”
Artists of all levels are invited to participate in this exciting competition. Entries will be judged across three categories – Category (1) Ages 18 years +, Category (2) Ages 13 – 17 years, Category (3) 6 – 12 years. Entry fee is $5. The interpretation of what this means is up to the artists, but we are looking for images that inspire and uplift the spirit.
The winners will be announced at the North Burnett BeLong Table Lunch 'Family, Friends and Fun' on 27 May 2023 at the Mount Perry Racecourse, where there will also be a People’s Choice award. This event will bring together local communities to celebrate well-being through food, art, and music.
Entries open on 15 March 2023 and are to be submitted here. The entry requires you to complete a two (2) step process 1) Fill out an entry form and 2) Make payment for your entry.

In conjunction with the “Stories from Golden Hearts Photography Competition”, eligible entrants have the optional, additional opportunity to supply and exhibit a framed print of their entries, for display/sale at the Shelley Kelly Gallery, Mount Perry.
