A diverse group of speakers gathered for the BIEDO General Meeting in Goomeri in June to share information and learn about projects underway in the Inland Burnett. BIEDO meetings aim to bring representatives together from government, community and business to provide networking opportunities and strengthen our region.
Kingaroy Campus Business Coordinator Rhonda McDade, from the Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE who attended the June meeting said it was a great opportunity to learn more about what’s happening in the region and how her organisation could be involved.
“There were a wide variety of speakers from local industries such as tourism, mental health and food production,” said Mrs McDade.
"I would encourage any Inland Burnett organisation to attend a BIEDO meeting as it’s a fantastic way to network and get involved in the progress of the region,” she said.
