Description: This site provides FREE access to a searchable database of all Commonwealth government grants.   Grants Link also helps you find the best source of funding and assists you to complete application forms.

Description: This site offers a Subscription service to a interactive search of the 3,000 grants listed in the popular book Australian publication, 'Grants Search.' You can subscribe for a little as 7 days for $32.95.

Description: This website aims to match arts and cultural organisations to Private Foundations and other benefactors. Once you have completed your registration, your details will appear on the Art of Giving website and will be promoted to potential benefactors. If a benefactor is interested in developing a relationship with your organisation, they will contact you directly.

Description: This free book is produced by the Commonwealth to present and describe the grants and funding programs available through all their departments. The next edition is due out in April 2004. Usually in your local Council or Library, if not, ask them to get a copy.

Successful Submission Writing: Business and Non-Profit Organisations - Publication Details: Roberts, J. (1990). The Business Library, Melbourne .

Description: This book does an excellent job of explaining the planning and preparation steps required by groups considering external funding.

 

FAVOURITE SMALL GRANTS  

Gambling Community Benefit Fund - http://www.gcbf.qld.gov.au

Description: These grants are given to non-government organisations to strengthen their capacity to provide community services and activities. There are four funding rounds each year. The closing dates for these are 31 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 31 December.
