UPDATE!

BIEDO Business Dinners/Breakfasts!

BIEDO in partnership with WBBACC will be conducting a series of business dinners/breakfasts within the Inland Burnett. WBBACC is sponsoring a percentage of the meal cost (sit down dinner or breakfast) which reduces the cost of attending to $10-15 p/hd.

Business dinners/breakfasts will be held in local café’s, restaurants etc with the aim to create business and income opportunities for local hospitality providers.

Please note that ‘businesses’ include primary producers as well as processors, manufacturers and town-based service & retail businesses.

PLEASE NOTE - ALL BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE BEFORE 4th JULY - CALL (07) 4169 7851

Aim:

“The most consistent problem raised by small business in this region is that they don’t know where to go for assistance”.

The aim of the business dinners/breakfasts is to notify businesses of services that are available to them locally and regionally. BIEDO will be inviting:

o    4 guest speakers to present 10 min ‘snapshots’ on services, resources & information that can make a real difference to business viability, market development, financial management, retirement, succession & other business issues,

o    displays & information from other service providers to ensure local businesses have the best possible awareness of available services,

o    your Chamber to welcome guests and open the dinner or breakfasts

It is also an opportunity for businesses to network with other each other.  We often find that businesses get a lot of value from interacting with each, yet seldom have the chance.  The business dinners provide time for Q&A and discussion.

The dinners/breakfasts also include a short laughter workshop and an excellent meal to promote relaxation and good fellowship.

Good opportunity to profile your business, organisation, increase membership & raise funds:

These dinners/breakfasts can help profile your own business and organisation in your community - with the potential to enlarge your client, membership database.

We welcome businesses and organisations to display your brochures, flyers etc in the small trade display area.

BIEDO is also offering the opportunity for organisations to use the night as a fundraising event e.g. conducting a raffle, auction goods from local businesses, etc.
