Grants for Business
While there are many grants available for community projects, it can be harder to find grants specifically targeted at helping businesses. But don't despair! Here are some links to funding bodies which have business as their primary focus:

If you're considering applying for a grant for your business, there are some important things to remember:
- Most grants for business require you to match the funding with 50% of your own cash
- In most cases you will be required to submit thorough business plans, cash flows and forecasts
- The grant body will expect ongoing reports and achievement of milestones
- You can never use grant money to cover debt or imminent bankruptcy

- Grant Angels—If you'd like some help to get your business through the funding maze - maybe the BIEDO “Grant Angels” can help! Grant Angels are available to work with businesses who need help preparing grant applications
- Grant Writing Workshops—These three hour practical workshops are run by BIEDO throughout the Inland Burnett to help
individuals and groups build their grant writing skills. If you'd like a workshop in your town or for your community group, just give us a call (minimum 10 participants/workshop) - Grant Editing and “Heads Up” Grant Research—Just need someone to check a grant you’ve written yourself, or need regular updates on what grants are available?
